The Meaning of “Re + Shell”
The name RESHELL combines “Re” (Again) and “Shell” (Structure).
It reflects our intention to create a carrier that can stay in use over time—not something disposable, but a durable system designed to be cleaned, maintained, and renewed through interchangeable components.

The Outer Shell forms the structural foundation of the Reshell system.
Its rigid, integrated design helps maintain shape, support the insert, and create a stable base across different modes of use.

Instead of relying on layered reinforcement boards and adhesives, the Outer Shell uses an interlocking structural design that can be assembled without glue. [2]

Smart A-Frame Design
A wider base helps create a stable footprint, while the narrower upper profile reduces bulk when carried close to the body.

6° Ergonomic Handle
The handle is angled at 6° to allow both sides to meet more naturally when lifted, creating a more comfortable grip.
Interchangeable Inserts
One Shell. Different Ways to Use It.
Reshell is built around a modular insert system that allows you to change the interior setup without replacing the entire carrier.
Choose from Cage, Blanket, or Cave depending on how your pet travels, rests, or spends time with you.
Each insert can be removed from the Outer Shell for easier care and replaced independently when needed.
- CAGE An enclosed carrier setup with a full mesh lid for ventilation, visibility, and secure travel.
- BLANKET A softer, more open setup designed for relaxed outings and everyday rest.
- CAVE A cozy enclosed space that transforms Reshell into a more private place to rest.
How to Assemble Reshell
Reshell is designed so the Outer Shell and Insert can be assembled, removed, and reconfigured as needed.

Easy to Clean. Designed to Stay in Use.
Reshell uses a separable Outer Shell and Insert structure rather than an adhesive-based layered construction. This allows the fabric Insert and rigid Outer Shell to be cared for separately.
The fabric Insert can be removed for washing, while the Outer Shell can be easily wiped clean for everyday maintenance.
By making each component easier to care for according to its material, Reshell is designed to stay in use longer—without replacing the entire carrier.

Reshell ISO uses FIDLOCK® magnetic fasteners, developed in Germany and widely used in performance, outdoor, and technical products.
The system combines magnetic guidance for quick alignment with a mechanical locking mechanism for a secure connection.
Woojin Plastic Buckles
Reshell uses plastic buckles supplied by Woojin Plastic, a Korean manufacturer known for producing durable components for outdoor, military, and technical gear.
Selected for their reliability and durability, these components are used throughout the Reshell system where secure fastening matters.

Research on canine movement shows that standing up and maintaining balance involve significant muscle activity and joint loading.
This insight informed Reshell’s use of a firm, non-sagging base, designed to provide a more stable surface for pets during travel.
The Carrier Barrier
“Why 58% Hate the Vet.”
According to the Bayer Veterinary Care Usage Study, approximately 58% of cat owners reported that their cats dislike going to the veterinarian, with stress often beginning before the visit itself—including the process of getting into a carrier.
This insight influenced Reshell’s rigid trapezoidal structure, which is designed to maintain its shape and create a stable, den-like interior during transport.

Respecting Their Sensitivity
Dogs have a highly sensitive sense of smell, making the materials used in an enclosed carrier an important consideration.
Because adhesives can introduce additional odors and material compounds, the Reshell Outer Shell uses a zero-adhesive interlocking structure that can be assembled without glue.
This approach reduces the need for unnecessary adhesives while keeping the structure simple and durable.
